Youth Ministry plays a vital role at Wooddale and we want to offer as many opportunities as we can for students to experience the gospel.
From weekly meetings, to uplifting retreats, and everything in between, students and leaders grow together in Christ-centered community. We want to equip youth with the tools needed to own a lasting faith that follows them through life.
Youth Group
Wooddale Youth Group is a great place for students 6th grade and up to come worship God, play games, be challenged on their level, and spend time discussing their faith journey in a safe and welcoming environment.
Hang out with us Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Sunday Morning Small Groups
We offer small group classes for middle school, high school, and young adults just starting out. Sunday Morning small groups offer your whole family an opportunity to connect to God's word on a more personal and intimate level in an encouraging community.
Small Groups meet on Sundays at 10:50 am after the morning worship service.
Events and Retreats
We want to offer students many different opportunities to experience the gospel. Along with yearly retreats, we also have fun at holiday parties, group outings, lock-ins, family events, and chances to serve others.
Youth Worship Team (YPT)
We are very passionate about worshiping God through song. Our Youth Praise Team leads the Youth Group in worship on Tuesday evenings. We are always welcoming new singers, musicians, and sound technicians to join us. If you are interested in joining, please contact Jake.
Serving Opportunities
We believe that every age can serve the Lord in amazing ways. Wooddale has many opportunities for students to serve in the church and in the community. Many of our students volunteer for VBS, Wooddale Kids, Kids Church, Family Events, Worship Teams, and community outreach. If you would like get involved speak with a Youth Leader today.
pRaise Up
pRaise Up is a group of High School singers and musicians who want to raise up their voice and talents to the Lord in praise by performing special music during church services. Middle School students are encouraged to step in for special occasions. If you are interested in joining please contact Joedi.
