At Wooddale we offer many different programs to help get children excited to learn about God! We have classes for kids as young as Preschool and offer nursery services for little ones not quite old enough to be with the big kids.

We strive to teach and provide activities that cater to each grade level.

Children ages 5 through 6th grade are invited to come have fun with us on Wednesday nights! Every Wednesday night from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, we play group games, learn from God's Word, worship, and participate in activities that go alongside the theme for the night.

We offer small group classes for each grade level as young as Preschool. Led by a fantastic ministry team, kids will learn Bible lessons and engage in activities that help them to apply God's Word to their lives daily. Small Groups meet on Sundays at 10:45 am after the morning worship service.

VBS

Vacation Bible School is one of our biggest outreach programs here at Wooddale. We transform our church to create new and exciting adventures every year. These adventures help us create an atmosphere where children can immerse themselves into the story and get excited to learn about God. They are presented with simple Bible points taught with memorable examples so they can take what they have learned with them.

An alternate to the regular service, Kids Church is an opportunity for kids 5 years of age through 5th grade to worship God on their level. Just like the regular morning worship service, they will spend time in singing, hearing from the Bible, and will be challenged to apply what they have learned to their lives. Children will be dismissed to Kids Church during the Sunday morning worship service. Children 4 and younger are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Upward Basketball

Since 1995, millions of young athletes have participated in Upward Basketball in communities around the nation. Through Recreation Leagues, Camps, and Clinics, young basketball players can chart their own athletic journeys through multiple levels of play – all while being developed into total athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially. We had a great 2022 season!

Nursery/Preschool

Our early childhood environments offer your youngest kids a clean, safe and loving place to sing, play and learn about God. We offer a room for babies and parents as well as a staffed toddler area for your energetic little ones. Both rooms are available during Sunday morning worship and Sunday morning small groups. During Sunday morning worship, a live stream of the service will be playing to accommodate parents.
